Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
SurveyFuji is operated by CUCULIC Technologies LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use surveyfuji.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in, we receive your email address and, if you use Google, your name and profile picture from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Profile details (optional). Anything you add to your profile: first and last name, display name, company or organization, and a profile photo. Photos are resized and stripped of location and camera data when uploaded.
- Surveys you create. Titles, descriptions, questions, options, and any pictures you upload for answer choices. If you're signed in, uploaded pictures are also kept in your picture library so you can reuse them, until you remove them or delete your account.
- Survey responses. The answers respondents submit, and when they were submitted. Depending on the survey, responses may be anonymous or linked to the respondent.
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you joined our waitlist before launch, the email address you entered.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and secure the service. To prevent spam and abuse, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, and of the email address you use to request a sign-in link, for up to two days to limit how often an action can be repeated. We use cookies only to keep you signed in, to remember surveys you created in your browser, and to remember which surveys you've already answered, and, if you arrived through a partner's link (such as surveyfuji.com/?ref=…), to remember that link for 30 days so we can credit the partner; we do not use advertising cookies. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- Reports. If you report a survey, we keep your report and, if you give it, your email address so we can follow up. The survey's creator doesn't see who reported it.
- Billing. If you subscribe to Pro, your plan, whether it's active, when it renews, and Stripe's reference for you. You enter card details on Stripe's page; they never reach us.
- Contacts and groups. If you save people to your SurveyFuji address book or groups, typed in or picked from your phone's contacts, we store the name, email address and phone number you choose, for your use only. We never upload your whole address book, only the people you pick, and we never contact them unless you send them a survey. They're deleted when you remove them or delete your account.
- Survey invitations. When you send a survey to your contacts, each person gets their own link. We keep who it was sent to, how (notification, email or a text from your phone), and whether they opened it and answered, so you can see who has answered. Invitation emails come from SurveyFuji, name you as the sender, and include a link to stop all survey invitations.
- The iPhone app. If you allow notifications, we store a push address for your phone so we can tell you about new answers. Signing out of the app removes it.
How we use information
- To provide SurveyFuji: create and share surveys, collect responses, and show results.
- To sign you in and keep your surveys connected to your account.
- To send sign-in links and essential service emails.
- To tell people who joined our waitlist about SurveyFuji’s launch.
- To send occasional SurveyFuji news, such as changes to plans and prices. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use survey responses for advertising.
Surveys and respondents
When you respond to a survey, your answers are shared with the person who created it. The survey creator decides what to ask and what to do with the results, and is responsible for their own use of that information. If you have questions about a specific survey, contact its creator.
Service providers
We rely on these providers to run SurveyFuji. They process information only on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and sign-in
- Vercel — website hosting
- Google — “Sign in with Google”
- Resend — delivery of sign-in and notification emails
- Expo — delivery of notifications to the SurveyFuji iPhone app (through Apple)
- Sentry — error reports, so we can fix problems (we remove private links and cookies, and don't send IP addresses)
- Telegram — internal alerts to our team about new sign-ups and reported surveys
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions for Pro (Stripe handles your card details; we never see them)
- Formspree — our former waitlist form
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
Retention and deletion
We keep surveys, responses, and account information until you delete them or ask us to. You can delete your account, along with its surveys and responses, at any time from your Account page. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, email privacy@surveyfuji.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our database is limited to our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
SurveyFuji is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify signed-in users.
